Theology

Understanding God and His ways. Explore the systematic study of divine truth through Scripture, tradition, and reason.

What is Theology?

Theology is the study of God and divine things. The word comes from the Greek "theos" (God) and "logos" (word or study). It seeks to understand who God is, what He has done, and how we should respond to Him.

Christian theology is grounded in Scripture and seeks to understand God's revelation of Himself through His Word, His creation, and ultimately through Jesus Christ.

Why Study Theology?

For Personal Growth

Studying theology deepens our understanding of God and strengthens our faith. It helps us think biblically about life's biggest questions.

For Ministry and Discipleship

Sound theological knowledge equips us to teach others, defend the faith against error, and lead with clarity.

For Worship and Devotion

The more we understand God's character, the more we can worship Him in spirit and truth.

Humanity (Anthropology)

Salvation (Soteriology)

The study of God's gracious work of salvation through faith in Christ.

The Church (Ecclesiology)

The study of the church's nature, purpose, and mission as the body of Christ.

Last Things (Eschatology)

The study of end times, Christ's return, and eternal realities.
